Smart Hearing Protection™ was originally conceived in 2003. After proving the concept, patents were filed internationally in 2005.

Larry is a veteran of over 35 years defining, developing and manufacturing optoelectromechanical products for personal and office use. He has been employed by Eastman Kodak, CalCorp Technologies, and Corning Rochester Photonics, managing projects and facilities in the US, Mexico, Japan and Germany. He is a champion of Robust Design, Design for Manufacturing and the Total Quality Concept. Larry has a BS-ME and a certificate of advanced study from Cornell University.
